350 registered players representing 45 different countries are gearing up to 15th Bangkok Chess Club Open Tournament, which is same time Thailand Open Chess Championship 2015. This tournament will be held between 12-19 April at Dusit Thani Pattaya.
There is big Finnish interest with this tournament as 12 out of 350 registered players are coming from Finland, including Finnish chess legend, Grand Master Yrjo Rantanen and regular national team player, International Master Tapani Sammalvuo. In addition the Tournament’s Chief Arbiter is International Arbiter Markku Kosonen and the Chief Organizer and Tournament Director is Kai Tuorila.
Spectators are welcome for this grand event, but just remember to turn your mobile phone off before entering the tournament hall. You can find all tournament details at www.bangkokchess.com as well as from the facebook.
