Finnair carried 1,192,100 passengers in June, 9.0% more than a year ago, when the number of passengers was limited by capacity reductions following industrial action. Passenger numbers grew significantly in North Atlantic and European traffic and also in Asian and Domestic traffic.
Overall capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASK), increased by 5.1%. In June 2026, capacity grew significantly in North Atlantic traffic, driven by the Toronto flights launched in May. Capacity also increased clearly in European traffic, supported by new destinations, and slightly in Asian traffic, while capacity in Domestic traffic remained stable.
Passenger load factor (PLF) improved by 2.2% points to 84.0%. PLF improved in Asian, North Atlantic and Domestic traffic but declined in European traffic.
Revenue per available seat kilometer (RASK) increased by 10.1%, supported by an improved passenger load factor and higher yield.
Total cargo tonnes increased by 20.7%, as European, Asian and North Atlantic cargo traffic tonnes saw significant growth.
